Getaway

It felt like i was disconnected from the world for a very long time but freaky to know that it only lasted for about a week or so.

We always say, GETAWAY whenever we are travelling out of own country. Just how much are we exactly away from what we think we want to be away from? Not very much man. Especially when we are talking about the return of the getaway, thats probably one of the hardest aftermath to be dealing with!

The trip was awesomely memorable even though the weather could have done a greater job by not even drizzling or turning the rightfully blue sky to a tad of, gloomy dark ones..
On the flipside of that, i am kinda thankful for it because it saved me from complaining about sweating TOO much or getting TOO tanned. (not that i am any better now, but at least..)

I wouldn't deny that our first trip made everything in life seems less tensed up. In turn, we are feeling more of everything and that we are already looking forward to the next trip. May be long, may be short enough to come, but one thing we know for sure is that it became a Must.

Having those few days away from the monotony of the usual routine together, definitely added a spark to our moments. It really takes a lot to hold, no?
Like both of my Sissy always said, "Thats life, Thats Love!"

I couldn't agree more to that.
We have a long way to go and i just cant wait to see myself turning around, turning my life around..

Another Predictable Bad Year-End

As i was mentioning about the Quarter Life Crisis in the previous entry, reason being simple. I must have had something to do with it, if not i wont give a hoot about those.

Not sure how accurate or how true i am related to that, but so to speak, its something everyone will and might have to go through.

November was rather a deranged one for me. Why so, because from having to leave RSA to some in-between-roadblock (mind-ranging to be precise) afterwhich and finally getting myself into GreatEastern doing something that have never crossed my mind that i would be doing. And only one simple over-used word to describe and never will i be wrong about it, B O R I N G. Out of desperation and that strong impulse, i am only having one workable and logical solution to it which by far i am adopting.

Oh, not forgetting my "room mate" has officially separated from me. Wouldn't deny that i definitely am enjoying the "freedom" and "ownership". But without her around is like missing a large piece of something in e room. Honestly and when i finally met her that one day, i was on the verge of tears. As cliche as it sounds, this is what we really called BOND and may be something not easily found on anybody else.
BUT the3 of us are still very bonded. Thanks to the cyber-world creation and of cos our smartphones! WHATS APP? LETS WHATSAPP! (if only they are using a bb, bbm is way better!)

The only thing i am looking forward to is none other than our very first trip to Phuket this coming weekend. With our hard-earned money!!! Money that did not come by easily afterall. I mean, yea true enough, no one's money come by easy.

Its time too, time for us to be enjoying after so long. We needed it really really badly.

For now, BON VOYAGE BRYAN AND YVONNE!

Quarter Life Crisis

It is when

-You start realizing that there are a lot of things about yourself that you didn't know and may or may not like.

-You start feeling insecure and wonder where you will be in a year or two, but then get scared because you barely know where you are now.

-You start realizing that people are selfish and that, maybe, those friends that you thought you were so close to aren't exactly the greatest people you have ever met.

-You look at your job. It is not even close to what you thought you would be doing or maybe you are looking for one and realizing that you are going to have to start at the bottom and are scared.

-You are beginning to understand yourself and what you want and do not want.

-Your opinions have gotten stronger.

-You see what others are doing and find yourself judging a bit more than usual because suddenly you realize that you have certain boundaries in your life and add things to your list of what is acceptable and what is not.

-You are insecure and then secure.

-You laugh and cry with the greatest force of your life.

-You feel alone and scared and confused. Suddenly change is the enemy.

-You get your heart broken.

- Or you lay in bed and wonder why you can't meet anyone decent enough to get to know better. You love someone but maybe love someone else too and cannot figure out why you are doing this because you are not a bad person.

-You go through the same emotions and questions over and over and talk about the same topics because you cannot seem to make a decision.

-You worry about loans and money and the future and making a life for yourself.

Symptoms:
  • Feeling like a failure because your job doesn't match your level of knowledge/skills
  • Frustration with the corporate world
  • Uncertainty about the future
  • Insecurity about reaching aspirations or completing day-to-day tasks
  • Lack of ability to hold onto close friendships or romantic relationships, as well as sexual frustration
  • Confusion of identity
  • Loss of closeness in relationships
  • A sense that everyone is doing better than you
  • Strong desire to have children, but feeling this won't happen

Dreams & Reality

The best thing about dreams is that fleeting moment, when you are between asleep and awake,
when you don’t know the difference between reality and fantasy,
when for just that one moment you feel with your entire soul that the dream is reality,

and it really happened.
